alkoholfreier Glühwein

The Christmas market classic par excellence: mulled wine. But this drink can also be very tasty in the home. We'll show you a recipe without alcohol here:

Ingredients:

  • 1 liter of red grape juice (no added sugar)
  • 500 ml cranberry juice (no added sugar)
  • 1 organic orange
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 star anise
  • 1 pinch of clove powder
  • 1 pinch of cardamom powder

Preparation:

Mix the ingredients in a large pot and heat until boiling. Then reduce the heat and let it simmer gently. After about 30 minutes, pour everything through a sieve and enjoy the mulled wine hot.

Vegan TreeCookies – the delicious alternative

vegane TreeCookies

Christmas is a time for baking and cooking. If you would like a vegan alternative to the many different Christmas cookies, we have a recipe for you here.

Ingredients for 15-20 piece:

  • 200 g ground almonds + 1 tablespoon for rolling out the dough
  • 120g fine powdered sugar
  • 1 spoonful of cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 large tablespoons of almond butter
  • ½ lemon, just the juice
  • 1 tablespoon water (or more if the dough needs to be dried)
  • 50g vegan chocolate

Preparation:

Cut the vegan chocolate into small pieces. Now put all the ingredients in a large bowl and knead everything well. If the dough is too dry, add a little more water. If the dough is too wet, add more ground almonds.

Now roll out the dough with a little ground almonds on the workstation. This prevents sticking. Roll out the dough until it is about 1cm thick, or as desired.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

Take a tree-shaped cookie cutter. Cut out the cookies and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes until they are nice and golden brown and crispy on the outside.

We wish you bon appetite! And by the way, if you're looking for more NIKIN recipes, you can find them here.
