Questions about the Outlet products
Outlet products are products with minor flaws or products that have been returned by costumers. Outdated models that are no longer produced by us or will be taken out of our assortment in the near future also end up in the Outlet. Overall they are produts that we don’t want to sell for normal prices.
Possible flaws are for example:
• The article is slightly damaged (unsightly seams, printing or embroidery errors, logo sewn on improperly, tears, holes, scratches, material defects, and so on).
• The article was returned by a customer. This means that the packaging has been removed, the article may have already been washed once, may show signs of staining).
We only sell Outlet products that have minimal flaws and that we can resell with a clear conscience.
The classics, such as the TreeShirt, the TreeHoodie or Treeanies, can also be found in the Outlet. A detailed overview of the current Outlet assortment can be found in the Online Outlet Collection.
Yes, a tree is also planted for every Outlet product sold. Therefore, when you buy a product, you will also receive a tree planting certificate. You can find more information on the subject of "Planting trees" here.
Questions about the Outlet Sale?
How does an Outlet normally work? The physical Outlet at our Lenzburg location has already taken place. There, our Outlet stocks (see "Questions about outlet products") are offered at discounted prices. This way we avoid that defective but still usable products are thrown away. Now we also want to offer you the opportunity to buy discounted NIKIN products online, from Thursday, May 13th, 11:45 am until Sunday, May 16th, 11:59 pm.
Since there is no physical event, it is not possible to touch or try on the products. However, our customer support team will be happy to assist you with any queries you may have using Live Chat. You can reach our customer support team at the following times:
• Saturday, the 18th of April 2020: 9 am to 1 pm / 5 pm to 9 pm
• Sunday, the 19th of April 2020: 9 am to 12 pm / 2 pm to 5 pm
No, due to the regulations for events of the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) in connection with the coronavirus, the Outlet Sale will take place exclusively online.
The Outlet Sale is held twice a year, once in April and once in August. You will find the exact details of the next sale on the NIKIN homepage at the bottom.
Questions about special offers
Yes, all generally valid discount codes can also be used at the Outlet Sale. Generally valid are non-product-specific discounts, e.g. "10% off your total order". Discount codes for combination promotions are not valid.
No. As Outlet products are already offered at a reduced price, combo promotions such as the current promotion "3 for 2 - Choose three TreeSocks of your choice and pay for two of them" are not valid for Outlet products.
Questions about warranty and returns
Within the legal limitation period of 14 days for the cancellation policy. For used goods the following applies: "If the defect occurs after one year from delivery of the goods, claims for defects are excluded. Defects that occur within one year from delivery of the goods can be claimed within the legal limitation period of two years from delivery of the goods". (see AGB)
An exchange of Outlet products is possible on the basis of the legal framework (see AGB). However, many articles are not available in all sizes or colours, which can lead to misunderstandings in the case of an exchange and thus to disproportionately high administrative and logistical costs. NIKIN therefore advises against an exchange.

Not really. You first select the product that you are interested in. Then you choose size, colour and quantity and click "Add to cart". When you have all the products you want in your shopping cart, select "Complete order". You will then be guided through the payment process step by step until you receive a confirmation of purchase and your products are shipped. Snap – it is that fast!
